Yael stone, a native of New York City based Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Yael's first job has given her to interact with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has had a long and successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was able to find a new location within New York City when the production premiered to acclaim on the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael co-founded The Cannery. From the Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery is a place to promote new writing, innovative creative projects and assists in the growth of writers in their teens.
